Parsons Suite
How do we feel about an open concept work environment? This is partially the case for the newly renovated Parsons Suite. In addition to the conference rooms, they also have open cubicle spaces. I think open spaces encourage collaboration, which is excellent, but, it can also be distracting for those that need to think in silence. It is all really up to the company’s needs!
Our company uses both. Since we are a family-run company, our offices are currently above the detached garage of our family home. So, if we feel like we need to be creative and collaborate, we have the office space where we can all get together. And, if we need our space to write or edit, we have our homes to do so in. We are grateful every day for the opportunity to work in this environment.
What I think I love most about the Parsons Suite are the communal areas! The areas flow seamlessly and encourage work and play in the same space, which is excellent for creative purposes.
