JHU's Cordish Lacrosse Center

Johns Hopkins University’s Cordish Lacrosse center is a 10 million dollar improvement on the program with a long tradition of excellence! The new facility serves as the home of both the men and women’s lacrosse teams.  David Cordish, chairman of the Cordish Companies, an alumnus of JHU, and a 3 year Blue Jays lacrosse player was the main donor for this project which is why it is named after him!

The new space provides an exciting entrance for the teams as well as incredible views for coaches and fans during the games! Within the walls, the space provides new locker rooms, a 50-person theater, a conference room, an academic center, a training room, and a gallery documenting the historic achievements of Hopkins Lacrosse.

Johns Hopkins University President Ronald J. Daniels said "This building will once again set us apart from every other lacrosse program in the country. It will give our recruits, from the moment they start dreaming about the Homewood Campus, a sense of what lacrosse means at the Johns Hopkins University. ... The Cordish Lacrosse Center will help ensure our ability to continue competing at the very highest level, and demonstrate our deep and enduring commitment to the sport."
