FBI Building Baltimore Field Office
The FBI’s Mission is: “To protect the American people and uphold the Constitution of the United States.” Along with their headquarters that is located in Washington, DC, they have 56 field offices throughout the country. We were asked to photograph the location in Baltimore. These field offices are where they “carry out their investigations, assess local and regional crime threats, and work closely with partners on cases and operations.” (from FBI website)
The building itself is impressive! Instead of just creating a boring government building, they incorporated plenty of modern ideas to keep the space from feeling dull! The main lobby is gorgeous with the different textures and colors, and I especially like the circular pond built in four parts to include a walkway for all of the employees. It looks like they planted plenty of new trees as well!
